Violeta Đorđević


Violeta Đorđević was born in Leskovac on January 24, 1996, where she completed primary and secondary school.

She enrolled in undergraduate studies in the program of Social Policy and Social Work at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, in 2015. She graduated in 2019 with an average grade of 9.51 and earned 244 ECTS credits, with an additional 4 ECTS earned through extracurricular activities. During her studies, she volunteered at the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, NGO – Center for the Advancement of Society with children without parental care, and NGO – Center for Palliative Care and Palliative Medicine – BELhospice.

During her undergraduate studies, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, and during her final year, she was a scholarship holder of the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia – Dositeja Scholarship. She received the Young Talents Award five times during her studies, awarded by the city of Leskovac and the Leskovac Youth Office.

She enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Social Work at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, in 2019, and completed it in 2022 with an average grade of 9.63. Upon enrolling in the master’s degree program, Violeta was selected as a demonstrator-collaborator in the field of Socio-Psychological and Socio-Medical Sciences for the academic year 2019/20 at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, and participated in internship at the City Center for Social Work Belgrade – Zvezdara Department. She continued her internship at the Center for Social Work Leskovac, where she was employed for two years as a case manager. She holds a license to perform basic social protection tasks.

She is currently in the second year of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, with an average grade of 10.00.

Since February 2023, she has been employed as a research trainee at the Institute for Serbian Culture Pristina-Leposavic.

Violeta is fluent in English and also proficient in German.
