Olja Arsenijević

Olja Arsenijević, a full professor in the field of management, was born in 1967 in Novi Sad.

Education

She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad in 1991 with a graduate thesis on “Culinary vocabulary and the vocabulary of dishes in Srem”.

She completed her master’s studies (2001-2003) at the Faculty of Management, University “Business Academy”. As part of her master’s studies, she passed all exams with an average grade of 10, and defended her master’s thesis (2003) entitled “Organizational culture of higher education institutions that study management.”

She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Modeling the evaluation of education for management” in 2007 at the Faculty of Management, University “Business Academy”.

Work experience

From 2001 to 2014, she was employed at the Faculty of Management in Novi Sad, first as an assistant from 2001 to 2007, then as an assistant professor from 2007 to 2012, and as an associate professor from 2012 to 2014.

At the Faculty of Management, in addition to teaching, she was engaged as the head of the Department of Operational Management from 2008 to 2010, and in the period from 2010 to 2014 as vice dean for science.

At the same faculty, she was the founder of the study program Media Management and its manager from 2002-2004.

Since 2014, she has been employed at the Faculty of Business Studies and Law as an associate professor, until 2018, when she was elected a full professor on January 24.

At the Faculty of Business Studies and Law, she was the person in charge of quality in the process of self-evaluation of the institution, as well as the vice dean for science.

Since 2019, she has been engaged as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Kranj, University of Maribor in the subject of Leadership.

Since May 2021, she has been employed at the Institute for Serbian Culture in Leposavić.

She was a mentor on three defended doctoral dissertations. She is currently a mentor on two doctoral dissertations that are being prepared at the Faculty of Business Studies and Law, University “Union – Nikola Tesla”.

She was a mentor on four magisterial’s theses, 3 master’s theses and dozens of graduate theses.

She created a program that is accredited in the Institute for the Advancement of Education entitled Competences of school principals for a new management paradigm,556-XIII/27/2010 , www.zavod.edu.rs

Scientific research projects in which she participated as a leader or as a member of the project team:

1. In the period 2006-2010, she was engaged in a scientific project funded by the Secretariat for Science of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina “Innovation culture as a factor in the formation and development of innovation systems” (Ev. No. 114-451-0248). First as an associate on the project (led by Prof. dr Đuro Kutlača), and the last three years as a project manager.
2. In the period 2011-2019, she was engaged in a scientific research project funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development entitled “Digital Media Technologies and Social Educational Changes” (Ev. No. 47020, headed by Prof. dr Milica Andevski) as the A1 category researcher. .
3. As a team leader and editor of the thematic collection, she also participated in international projects that were implemented within the Faculty of Business Studies and Law: „Enterpreneurship for a Suistanable Economy“, FP DH/PE1/0116-0217/2016-2017 и „Comparative Analysis оf Social Entrepreneurship иn Serbia, Russia, Europa аnd in the World“, No. ФПДХ/ПЕ2/0117-0218/2017-2018.
4. As a member of the team, she participated in the project “Research of parameters in the field of sustainable development of the ecological system from the aspect of monitoring, protection and use of water”, / 401-00-973 / 2017-07, Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Federal Water Directorate
