Biography
Dragana Rajović, Research Associate, was born in 1971 in Priština.
She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Priština, in 1997, completing the study program in Yugoslav Literature and the Serbian Language with a thesis titled “The Relationship Between Character and Ideology in the Plays of Dušan Kovačević”.
She earned her Master’s degree in Literary History from the Faculty of Philosophy in Pale, University of East Sarajevo, in 2018, defending her thesis “The Patriarchal World of Old Serbia in the Narrative Work of Grigorije Božović”.
Dr. Rajović obtained her PhD on February 7, 2025, from the same faculty, defending her doctoral dissertation titled “Biblical Motifs in the Work of Grigorije Božović”.
Between 1996 and 2021, she acquired many years of professional experience as a teacher of Serbian language and literature. In addition to her teaching work, she held the position of Editor-in-Chief at the public broadcasting service “Radio and Television Trstenik” (2001–2004), Editor-in-Chief of the first Serbian Orthodox Church television station in Serbia, “Logos” TV of the Orthodox Diocese of Žiča (2004–2012), and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “Hram” TV, of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci (2015–2021). Since September 13, 2021, she has been employed at the Institute for Serbian culture in Priština/Leposavić.

She publishes her research in academic journals, thematic collections, and conference proceedings. She is the author of the monograph Patriarchal Morality in the Short Stories of Grigorije Božović, published by the Institute for Serbian culture Priština–Leposavić in 2023. She is also the author of several peer reviews.
Dr. Dragana Rajović’s scholarly focus includes Serbian literature in an interdisciplinary context, with special emphasis on Orthodox Christianity, biblical motifs, and theology. She also devotes particular attention to the study of totalitarian ideologies—especially communism—and their reflection in literature, as well as to the analysis of literary texts through ideological, historical, and spiritual perspectives.
